Decisions

I am praying right now for wisdom in how best to serve my family and serve my mother too. I am reading this morning in Acts how the Apostles prayed and fasted before they made the decision to send Barnabas and Saul. How often I make a decision and ask God to bless it.

Father I ask for your hand on me that I would know how best to honor You. Forgive me for wanting to meet my family and my mother's needs in my own strength and forgive me for seeking to please men instead of pleasing You. Glorify Yourself in my mother. Please bring her to a saving knowledge of Your Son. Please help me to be a servant to her without trying to gratify her every whim. Father, help me give her what is best not just give her what she wants.
