Last night I was listening to Prime Time America and a man was talking about being a missionary. He said that his 25 years experience, that praying came down to the moment to moment needs.
"Keep me safe as I travel to the next village."
"Lord, we don't have any food, please provide our next meal."
This small snippet caused me to turn off my radio and start praying to our incredible God who cares about each small thing.
What I realized is that in "saving up" all my prayer for when I am really spiritual and ready to confess and give thanks and petition and all these "things" that good Christians are supposed to do... I miss the chance to be in conversation with my God all day long, and I forget what a small ant I am... totally dependent on Him anyway.. just unaware of my dependence.
Father, this minute I ask you to bless this post and my heart. Please help these pictures download to the site so I can get them printed, please help me to get all the paperwork done so my meeting will go well. Father, give me Your grace and mercy to deal with my own sin. Thank you for loving me. Thank you for showing yourself through Your Word, Your Son, Your people, through creation and through Your precious Holy Spirit who would like me to trust and have faith. I love You Lord. Because You first loved me. char
