This week I praying for my children not to answer back. It is always a temptation to answer back when you are told to do something, and this is something we all struggle with, adults and children.
We want to have the last word and decide for ourselves what we should do.
We really don't want to be humble or teachable, because we know everything. (Or at least I do!)
Proverbs 13:1
A wise son accepts his father's discipline, but a scoffer does not listen to rebuke.
Father - Please help me to teach my children to accept instruction and discipline quietly without argument. Please help them not to be wise in the own eyes. Please give me and my husband wisdom to train and instruct biblically without provoking our children to anger.
