Good Morning
I was so proud of myself this morning. Even though my walking partner fell through and I was up late last night, I was able to walk and run 3 miles this morning. I was also able to pray and have time alone with my thoughts which was much appreciated. I feel so at a standstill with my weight and really needed some encouragement to keep at it and God really reassured me this morning. From my Bible Study this past week and from the Core group time and lecture I have been thinking of the significance of Jesus being baptized. Why would the Holy One who has/had will have no sin need to be baptized? Or why does He choose to be baptized?

why would Jesus need to be baptized. I would venture to say it was to show a symbol of what one should do, and to show that baptism itself has no saving value as Christ certainly did not need saving. Am I right? Did I win something?
