Coastal Home Educators Conference May 30-31

Beaufort, SC - If you are in the area in May, stop by the Coastal Home Educators Conference, May 30th and 31st.

What started as a used curriculum sale; became a major new and used curriculum sale last year, complete with some helpful workshops to encourage homeschoolers.

This year the book sale has made the leap to a full-fledged conference.

The purpose and design of the conference is to encourage and help area and regional homeschoolers as they seek to teach and train their own children at home.

And the exciting part about this first conference is that it will feature a very special guest speaker Lou Priolo.

His messages are very applicable to any parent, grandparent, teacher or anyone who works with kids. Lou will be speaking on Friday night and Saturday. He will do a talk based on his book Teach them Diligently (How to use the Scriptures in Child Training) and another talk on The Heart of Anger.

Lou Priolo is a graduate of Calvary Bible College and Liberty University and the author of many books .

He was a keynote speaker last year at the CHEA Conference (Christian Home Educators Association of California), CHEFA Conference (Christian Home Educators of Fresno Area), and in 2006 at the ICHE Conference (Illinois Christian Home Educators).

A noted lecturer, and full time biblical counselor for 20 years, he currently serves as the Director of Biblical Counseling at Eastwood Presbyterian Church in Montgomery, Alabama where he is also a ruling elder. He is an instructor at Birmingham Theological Seminary in Birmingham Alabama. Lou Priolo and his wife Kim are the parents of two girls. The Priolos reside in Wetumpka, Alabama.

Registration is only $5 for members of Community Bible Church and $10 for everyone else. All children under 17 are free. Anyone who registers by April 30th will be entered into a drawing for $100.00 toward purchases from either the new or used book sale during the conference. Register here.
